with my Freelance Web, Design, and Communications services
based in Edinburgh and Bruges
Hi, I’m Gary, a freelance web and graphics designer.
I have been building websites for most of my adult life, starting out with simple sites for fun as a teen, I honed my skills over the years in campaigns and NGOs.
Now I put these skills, and my eye for design, to use by building visually impactful websites with a strong focus on the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). Websites shouldn’t just look good but should have a purpose and strategy.
So far I have worked with a wide-range of clients from NGOs, political groups, eShops, and even a football team! I am well versed in all it takes to set up your website or eShop from start to finish.
Please get in touch if you would like to work together!
All too often websites can be built to look pretty without a purpose, or indeed many often under-estimate websites as a simple theme install, resulting in a website which doesn’t fit your needs, or worse yet provides a negative impression.
I believe that a website should start with a strategy, purpose, and coherence. It should be built collaboratively with the client, and it should seek clear outcomes with an impactful design.
My design and build process starts with your aims, afterwhich we work collaboratively to realise them; the frame of the site flows from your needs, with the styling and content to follow, and then once you are happy with it all I will then undertake the technical processes to register, build, and achieve your digital strategy.
